Plant Maintenance Companies

I have an office in the city, and I want to engage one of the best plant maintenance companies for the money. But I have a dozen questions.

Plant Maintenance Companies

  1. How did you get started - The Plant Escape is owned and operated by Ted and Elizabeth Mark. They originally founded the organization in 1992, with one mission in mind: To provide superior products and professional services in a manner that exceeds their clients' expectations.

  2. Who are some of your clients  - Today, with over 40 years of combined professional experience, The Plant Escape has some significant clients, as this partial list of clients confirms.

SALESFORCE.COM • SAN FRANCISCO, CA

FITCH RATINGS • SAN FRANCISCO, CA

LATHAM & WATKINS • MENLO PARK, CA

LEGION OF HONOR • SAN FRANCISCO, CA

  1. Do you serve the whole peninsula – we serve the area of San Francisco Bay down to Palo Alto.

  2. How do you charge – we have several plans to choose from that will fit your budget.

  3. How do you protect from COVID 19 - Our friendly and responsive staff follow strict guidelines regarding health and safety. They are required to wear a mask, follow frequent hand washing regimen, regularly clean their equipment, like watering cans, hand tools, etc., and practice social distancing.

  4. Do you offer some sort of plans - The Plant Escape has many affordable plans to meet your indoor plant needs, including:

  1. Do you rent or sell plants – we do both. We can work out a program for you that fits your needs and budget.

  2. Do you have plants for various lighting conditions - - the Plant Escape is an expert on indoor plants that need special care to be healthy. If your office doesn’t have enough light, it's better to choose plants that not require a lot of natural light. Some plants such as snake plant, arrowhead vine, or Chinese evergreen will be great options.

  3. Are there any health benefits to indoor plants - There are still health concerns in your home environment. Only plants and indoor plant maintenance companies provide the health benefits of office plants. After all, your home still has Trichloroethylene from printing inks, Formaldehyde from wood paneling and synthetic fabrics, Benzene used in making plastics and synthetic fibers, Xylene used in making rubber and paint, and Ammonia used in glass cleaning fluids. Those chemicals have all sorts of unhealthy side effects.”

  4. Do you only serve large offices – we serve both large offices and home offices, wherever there is a need for our high-quality services in the Bay Area.

  5. Do you have services for special events – we do. We can supply the design and plants for that special party, corporate event, holiday, or wedding. We will take a walkthrough of the location, gather ideas from you and in a short time bring you a schematic of the look we want to achieve and the bid for our work,

  6. What are benefits of having indoor plants - “The article I read in Earth911 said there are five benefits to having indoor plants in your office.”

  • They improve air quality

  • The article said plants in the office could reduce stress.

  • Plants increase productivity

  • Plants make rooms more comfortable

  • And I read that plants improve our mental health
