Plant Rental Theatre District

The San Francisco Theatre District is a neighborhood in San Francisco named for the legitimate theaters located there. The district is consistently one of the most exciting places to be. It encompasses part of the Union Square shopping district and the Tenderloin and Civic Center neighborhoods. Theaters in the area include the Orpheum Theatre, Curran Theatre, Golden Gate Theatre, San Francisco Playhouse, and American Conservatory Theater. In addition, you can find a plant rental theatre district through The Plant Escape.

The Orpheum Theatre completed in 1926 seats over 2,000. It has hosted numerous Broadway shows, including Wicked and currently Hamilton.

The Curran Theatre found close to Union Square, has changed hands multiple times but is now under the sole possession of Carole Shorenstein Hays. This world-class establishment hosted the national tour of Shenandoah and the West Coast debut of Annie while currently hosting Harry Potter and the Cursed Child.

The Golden Gate Theatre will celebrate its 100th anniversary next year and has featured Louis Armstrong, Judy Garland, Nat King Cole, Roy Rodgers, The Three Stooges, and Frank Sinatra over the past century.

The Strand Theater celebrated new performance spaces in 2015. The revitalization of this historic venue has proven to be another fantastic addition to the San Francisco Theatre District.

What Is it that The Plant Escape Does?

The Plant Escape is owned and operated by Ted and Elizabeth Mark with one mission: To provide superior indoor plants and professional services in a manner that exceeds their clients' expectations. Today, with over 40 years of combined professional experience, The Plant Escape continues to flourish and maintain the company's commitment to excellence.

Without indoor plants, an office would be an unhealthy place to work. According to Wiesner Bros. Nursery,  “The process of human breathing takes in oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. Photosynthesis for plants absorbs carbon dioxide and releases oxygen. Thus, plants and people are naturally compatible in life. The addition of plants to indoor spaces will increase oxygen levels. However, at night, photosynthesis stops and will respire as humans do, releasing carbon dioxide and absorbing oxygen. But some plants are exceptions to the rule; orchids, succulents, and epiphytic bromeliads do the opposite. By strategically placing these plants, the air in the office refreshes the air during the night.

During the respiratory and photosynthetic process, plants will release moisture vapor, which increases the humidity of the air. Plants will release about 97% of the air they take in. Therefore, proper humidity levels are the best solution for helping respiratory distress.

We have outlined some of the many health benefits of indoor plants. Besides the beauty of plants, they also increase employee productivity.
