Bay Area Plant Rental

Can you imagine an office without green plants? It would appear barren as a desert, and you know it would be an unhealthy place to work. The office would have no way to filter the air of harmful pollution. Imagine an office, a wedding, a holiday party, or an annual conference with large, lush living plants or a variety of flowering plants that softens the verdant décor and fills the air with captivating fragrances all from a Bay Area plant rental company.

An Unhealthy Place to Work

We stated that without indoor plants, an office would be an unhealthy place to work. According to Wiesner Bros. Nursery,  “The process of human breathing takes in oxygen and releases carbon dioxide. Photosynthesis for plants absorbs carbon dioxide and releases oxygen. Thus, plants and people are naturally compatible in life. The addition of plants to indoor spaces will increase oxygen levels. However, at night, photosynthesis stops and will respire as humans do, releasing carbon dioxide and absorbing oxygen. But some plants are exceptions to the rule; orchids, succulents, and epiphytic bromeliads do the opposite. These plants should be strategically placed…to refresh the air during the night.”

During the respiratory and photosynthetic process, plants will release moisture vapor, which increases the humidity of the air. Plants will release about 97% of the air they take in. Proper humidity levels are the best solution for helping respiratory distress.

Plants that are especially good at purifying the air include the Ficus, the Peace Lilly, the Boston Fern, and English Ivy. Succulents such as Jade Plant, Aloe Vera, and Snake Plant purify the air and produce oxygen all night long, which can result in better breathing and better sleep when they are placed in a bedroom or on a nightstand.

Lavender, basil, and jasmine are all fragrant indoor plants whose smells can liven up a room and elevate the mood of its occupants. This is especially true in the cold months of winter when we feel trapped inside. In warmer weather, you can bring the flowers and plants inside from an outdoor garden to liven up a room.

House Beautiful says, To maximize their air-purifying benefits, get as many plants as you can, of all different kinds, and scatter them throughout every room in your house or office, including the bathroom, where a lot of cleaner fumes get trapped. The following image highlights the plants that work best as air filters.
